Tim Ho Wan – Food Review

Hi everyone,
i guess many of you have tried before Tim Ho Wan . This long weekend had bring me to try the food at Tim Ho Wan.

These are some of the dishes i tried recently and would like to share how i find them.

Tim Ho Wan, the Top Hong Kong Dim Sum has finally arrived in Singapore that defied all odds to gain an entry in the Michelin guide. Its best and cheap Dim Sum have won the plaudits of food critics and therefore the hearts of epicureans round the world.

These 4 dishes are my favourite . i really love the pork bun as it is crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. 🙂 yums!!!

This is unique only at Tim Ho Wan, but i must say i would still prefer the prawns version as i am not a fan of pork liver.

Something unique for this carrot cake as there is bits of sausage as i taste it.

The  vermicelli Roll with Pig’s Liver and Pan deep-fried Carrot Cake also are also available at the local branches which pride themselves as the best Yum Cha restaurant in Singapore.

The pork buns are engaging and here is why: the outside is crumbly and fluffy and the inside -barbecued pork with oozing sauce – boasts a sweet-salty style. The pork buns form up one-fourth of the massive 4 Heavenly Kings.

Somehow i feel the siewmai isn’t that good , i have definately tasted better ones! i wonder is it over steamed or what , the taste of it just isnt as good as i expected.

The size the steam egg cake had shrined in size! although it is really tasty i hope it can be improved! it is really nice and soft

i like this clear skin spinach bun, it is refreshing and it is not oily or sticky .  overall i love this dish and would order again.

i like this dish when it is eaten hot, well steamed with generous bits of prawns and very tasty with the gravy on it.

The dessert is nice but i must say this size is way too small. i hope their serving can be more generous pls.

After trying Tim Ho Wan, i would say that i would revisit again because overall i feel the food quality is good. However, the variety is really limited, i hope they will introduce food like egg tarts, salted egg buns, red bean bun and more variety.

What to do this weekend, bring your family our for a Tim Ho Wan Timsum dinner.
